Our Christmas Light Installation Process

1. Request Your Christmas Lighting Quote

Fill out our online form or call us to request a quote. We’ll ask a few quick questions about your home, your budget, and the overall look you’re going for—classic and simple, bold and colorful, or something in between.

2. Design Consultation & Proposal

Next, we’ll review photos of your home (or visit in person, if needed) and map out a custom design. We’ll decide together which areas to highlight—rooflines, peaks, windows, trees, shrubs, walkways, and more. From there, we’ll send you a clear proposal that outlines the design, materials, and pricing.

3. Schedule Your Installation Date

Once you approve the proposal, we’ll lock in your installation date on our calendar. We’ll coordinate timing around your preferences and our current availability so your lights are up when you want them—often before Thanksgiving for most homeowners.

4. Professional Installation Day

On installation day, our crew arrives on time with all the lights, clips, extension cords, and timers needed for your display. We carefully install each element, securing the lights to protect your roof, gutters, and landscaping. Before we leave, we’ll test everything, fine-tune any details, and make sure you’re happy with how it looks.

5. In-Season Maintenance & Support

If a bulb burns out, a strand comes loose, or a section isn’t working correctly, just reach out. Our holiday lighting service includes maintenance throughout the season, so you’re never stuck troubleshooting in the dark or climbing a ladder in bad weather.

6. Post-Holiday Takedown

After the holidays, we’ll return to remove all lights and décor safely. We carefully take everything down, pack it neatly, and leave your home and yard just as we found them—minus the decorations.

7. Storage for Next Season

For leased lights, we label and store everything for you so your custom display is ready to reinstall next year. If you purchase your lights, we’ll pack and label them for easy storage at your home, making it simple to work with us again in future seasons.

Christmas Light Installation FAQ

  • When should I schedule my Christmas light installation?

The earlier, the better. Most homeowners book their installation between late October and mid-November to avoid the holiday rush and secure their preferred date. If you wait until December, availability becomes limited and weather delays are more common.

  • Do I need to be home during the installation?

Nope — as long as we have access to the exterior of your home and you’ve approved your design, we can handle everything without you needing to be there.

  • How much power do Christmas lights use?

Most modern Christmas lights are LED, which use very little power and can typically run on your home’s existing outdoor outlets. If you have a larger property or want a more elaborate design, we’ll assess your setup and make sure the electrical load stays safe and efficient.

  • Will the lights damage my roof or gutters?

Not at all. We use professional-grade clips and attachment methods designed to protect your shingles, gutters, and trim. No nails, screws, or permanent hardware are used unless you specifically request a different option.

  • Do you provide the lights, or do I need to supply them?

We provide everything — commercial-grade lights, extension cords, timers, clips, and installation materials. This ensures the design looks clean, consistent, and long-lasting.

  • How does the removal process work?

After the holidays, we return to your home, remove all lights and hardware, neatly pack everything, and store it for you if you’re using our storage service. You don’t have to schedule anything — we put you on the takedown calendar automatically.
